Azla Vegan
Located in the Mercado la Paloma on S. Grand Ave., Azla Vegan is a small, family-owned restaurant that offers delicious organic Ethiopian cuisine. The way it works is; you choose either a base of injera (Ethiopian bread, its perfectly sour) or rice, and several main items to go with it. Some of the options include red lentils and curried potatoes with carrots, and there will always be a fresh daily special.

Chipotle
Ok, I don't even need to explain this one, but we do have one nearby! No, I don't mean Verde, because Verde <<< Chipotle, just take my word for it. This Chipotle has the sofritas - tofu - option, I've never had it but I guess for people who like tofu, it'd be delicious?? My one recommendation for this location is to order ahead if you know it'll be a rush hour time... they can be pretty slow.
Located right under Tuscany Apartments at 3748 S. Figueroa St., open 10:30 am - 11pm every day. Chips n guac 4evr!
Bella Pita
Bella Pita is a recent addition - as of Fall 2013 - but my friends and I love it! Great, casual place to head if you're looking for plenty of food for $5. The guys that work there are super friendly and will remind you to show them a student ID so you can get 10% off, AND they're open until 2 am on weekends!
I have more information about Bella Pita and all it's wonderful food from my recent trip there. Check out this post!
Located at 3013 S. Figueroa St., Bella Pita is open Sun - Wed 11am - 12am and Thu - Sat 11am - 2am.
Here is their website.
